This is just a suggestion since I don't have a motorcyle now. I have not been through the park since 1988. The Letchworth State Park is a New York state park located 35 miles southwest of Rochester and 60 miles southeast of Buffalo in Livingston and Wyoming counties. The park is roughly 17 miles long, covering 14,350 acres of land along the Genesee River, and is close to Castile, NY. It is refered to as The "Grand Canyon of the East," Letchworth is one of the most magnificent areas in the eastern U.S..

Drive Enjoyment

What I can remember it was paved roads but that was 25 years ago.

Tourism Opportunities

There is a Restaurant there Glen Iris Inn, but I did not eat there.

You are correct, this road is paved and smooth. This is a beautiful road for a ride. No gas staions in the park, so fill- up and enjoy the day. This road is especially beautiful in the fall. There are alot of overlooks to stop at, to view the gorge and waterfalls. If you are not familiar with the Park, grab a map and enjoy the ride. Speed limit is only 25-35 mph in the park.

Short ride through America's #1 State Park. Very beautiful with some long curves, tight turns, and if timed poorly too many tourists. Ride it off-season and stop at the many pullovers for gorgeous views and waterfalls. Head up to Geneseo afterwards and tour the National Warplane Museum.
