Rt. 869 starting at Sidman-Beaverdale going south thru Blue Knob State Park then turns into Rt 96 thru Bedford County
Scenery
The north side of this route offers mountain scenery and the south side of this route is gentle rolling mountains with dips and very light traffic.
Drive Enjoyment
The northern half of this route offers extreme tight curves and a few hairpin turns that will test anybodys riding ability while the southern half has mild curves with dips and very light traffic. Overall the road quality is near perfect.
Tourism Opportunities
The only restaurants are on the south side of route in Bedford along east Rt 56.
An interesting enough ride. Some nice scenery going on, okay twisties, okay sweepers. A bit in the middle of nowhere, but I can see how if you live out here this would be a go-to road. I also recommend 56 through Gallitzin.

I live near this road, and it's one of my favorite rides. A quiet country road with a couple areas with homes. No towns. Beautiful area.
