Written Directions

Can Start anywhere along RT 252 (outside Philadelphia) in Delaware County. Ride North approximately 10-15 miles following RT 252 N. Left turn onto Valley Forge Rd (still RT 252 N). Upon entering Valley Forge Park, take a right (away from the covered bridge on left)...the loop around the park is one way on parts of it...enjoy the history of the park. Overall approximately 20-30 miles or more depending on where you start on RT 252.

Scenery

Once in the park, enjoy the rolling hills, encampment history, George Washington's home while stationed at Valley Forge, and many other historic landmarks.

Drive Enjoyment

The road is well paved and the park is a loop with some wooded scenery, rolling hills, historic landmarks.

Tourism Opportunities

Valley Forge Park is a great place to pull over at many locations around the park and enjoy the history. Outside the park there is the Valley Forge Casino, King of Prussia mall with many great places to eat.

Live in the area and this is a nice ride. No reason to travel from far and wide to ride it. But if you live close, this is a good route.....
