Deale, MD to Crownsville, MD. Start @ Fairhaven road and Franklin Gibson Road, N Cross Deale Road and Stay on Franklin Gibson Cross E. Bayfront road (MD 258) road becomes Nutwell Sudley Road stay N Becomes Sudley Road, Don't turn right, stay straight Cross Owensville Road (MD 255) becomes Owensville Sudley Road Right on MD Rt 2 (N) Left on Harwood Road Becomes Patuxent River Road - turn right Cross MD 214 (central avenue) Becomes Rossback road (turn right) Straight across Rt 424 Left on Rutland Road Left on 450 immediate right onto St. Stevens Church Road Right on Chesterfield Road Left on Crownsville Road Left on Generals Highway (rt. 178) Right on Herald Harbor Road Right on River Road Left on Old Generals Hightway Left on Generals Highway (rt 178) back to Annapolis

Scenery

Winding 2 lane roads mostly through horse farms with occasional glimpses of the Patuxent River and Severn River

Drive Enjoyment

Nicely paved roads, Twisty, but nothing too difficult. Beware of oncoming traffic around some of the tighter blind turns, but a good ride for beginners and experienced alike.

Tourism Opportunities

This route is never far away from all the amenities anyone could possibly need, but this route is just the twisty back roads through farm country.
