Written Directions

Cheyenne, Wy to Larime, Wy from I-25 take exit 10D to missle and head towards Curt Goudy state park and your there.

Scenery

At first it's a little boring you go past some wind mills and ranches but about half way in you hit Medicine Bow National Forest and the scenery gets a lot better. If you'r lucky you may even see a moose or two.

Drive Enjoyment

no pot holes smooth the entire way if you go in early spring you will have some small gravel to deal with. Would not advise going if its windy can get pretty brutal. Also expect it to be atleast 5 degrees cooler your going from 6,000 feet to about 8,500 (the tallest point on I-80)

Tourism Opportunities

there isnt any gas untill you reach Larime and only one place to eat its a Bar and Grill on the right side heading away from Cheyenne they have a small cement patch to park bikes cars usualy take it and a large gravel parking lot.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

Not the best road in Wy but if your near going through cheyenne coming from the east or west and are tired of I-80 its a pleasent change.

An excellent ride with scenic views. The BUNKHOUSE BAR & GRILL is a great end of the ride stop.

I like this ride. Its a nice, easy run away from other drivers. I rather take back roads than interstates any day of the week. The roads are good, scenery is cool, and not alot of traffic. The wind can gust up sometimes, but nothing that can't be handled.

Its a nice, short ride. Not alot of traffic. Once you get past Crystal and Granite Res., there really arent alot of people turning off. When I want to take a trip to Laramie, I take this route and get on I-80 for a few miles into Laramie. A nice little run when you are short on time, but need to get out and ride somewhere.
