From Pinetop, AZ. Rt. 260 east to Eagar, AZ.

Scenery

This one of the scenic routes in the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation with plenty of curves hills and tall Ponderosa Pines, you will go from 6,800 ft. to over 9,000 ft. before you start back down as you approach Eagar and Springerville.

Drive Enjoyment

Road is just being resurfaced in both directions so it will be very good when done. All 2 lanes with some passing lanes.

Tourism Opportunities

Starting in Hon Dah (Pinetop AZ) there is a 24 hr. casino with restaurant, motel, gas, on some of the side roads there is hiking,camping but nothing else until you reach Eagar or Springerville, they both have restaurants, groceries, motels, gas.

Permits required for camping, fishing etc. in the Apache Indian Reservation.
