Written Directions

Start out in Beach, ND and travel east along Old Highway 10 all the way to Medora, ND.

Scenery

At the start of this route, after you leave Beach, ND, you'll see old farms, grasslands, & prairie and as you head east and get closer to Medora, ND you'll approach the badlands of ND and see more rugged landscape and see some critters as well.

Drive Enjoyment

Summer of 2012 it was resurfaced the road. It is in good shape now. The road was resurfaced as it isn't glass smooth payment more like paved gravel if that makes sense.

Tourism Opportunities

Beach has all amenitieis, Sentinel Butte has a quaint little gas station and Medora has it all.

Motorcycle Type : Cruiser
Like most roads in western North Dakota this one is lacking maintenance and overran with oil field service vehicles. It is still a nice ride but be wary of oil trucks.
