Written Directions

This road runs between Big Indian south of Hwy 28 to Claryville, NY. It is named Oliverea Rd off of Hwy 28; Frost Valley Road in the center; and West Branch Road off of Claryville Road if entering from the South.

Scenery

Scenic views of the West Branch Neversink River in any season with autumn colors being a definite bonus.

Drive Enjoyment

Highly recommended, very curvy road with modest elevation changes and decent pavement. This is a motorcycle enthusiast road with 26 miles of twisty fun in the lower Catskills. Travel in either or both directions. Enjoy the ride but be alert for wildlife, hikers, gravel, etc.

Tourism Opportunities

Plenty of tourism opportunities in the lower Catskills especially in the north (Phoenicia, Fleischmanns, Margaretville, ...). A couple of resorts & YMCA along Frost Valley Rd but most riders are too busy enjoying in the ride to make a stop.
