Written Directions

Start in southern NH at the border of Mass in Brookline, NH. From Brookline, go through Milford, up into Mont Vernon and then New Boston. Continues thru Goffstown, into the end point of Weare, NH.

Scenery

Absolutely beautiful back road scenery. Rivers, lakes, fields, farms, nice people, animals, parks.

Drive Enjoyment

Most of the roads have been paved recently, so there is no problems. Windy, hilly, great relaxing ride.

Tourism Opportunities

Lots of great stops along the way. Great bars, taverns and restaurants all privately owned. One of the best is the new Boston Tavern or Mad Matty's in new Boston. Can accommodate lots of bikers at once. In Weare, NH you'll find Clough State Park located about five miles east of town. The park is located on the shore of Everett Lake, a 150-acre lake formed by a dam on the Piscataquog River. Plenty to do at the park such as picnicking, swimming, fishing, boating, etc.

My GOD was this boring. From Mass border all the way to New Boston was straight and ugly (Roadside commercial structures etc.) Afterwards up to 114 is much better, however, it stinks getting there.

Not terribly impressed. Nothing much to see until after Milford except maybe a couple farms. Stop in town in Milford to eat and use restroom and then after that the ride is is little better. The road gets wooded on both sides with one lane each way with better farm fields and older homes. Honestly probably wouldn't bother doing again.
