Start in Port Allen and head up to New Roads via Route 415.

Scenery

The scenery is beautiful rural and green in the spring and summer.

Drive Enjoyment

The road winds along the levee of False River. The road has lots of twists and turns and limited traffic.

Take 415 into New Roads there you will a plenty of amenities and a gem on the river, Satterfields. A neighborhood spot where the locals arrive by boat(enjoy). Nothing especially technical about this route but it is a fun road with long sweepers and little traffic. The scenery is nice and a couple of good views of the river. It can be fun on both a sport bike and a touring bike or anything in between.

Have ridden this road a couple times. It is a very pleasant country ride. There are a few places that the pavement is getting a little rough but not too bad. It is a fun road to ride.
