Written Directions

South of Monroe, IA at the intersection of route 14 and G28 is where you start your route. Head east on G28, Cordova Park will immediately be on your right. Continue heading east to and through Pella, IA. G28 will eventually turn into Vermeer Rd E and continue heading east and eventually turns north and becomes G5T. Soon you come up on the curves of this section and wind your way north with the road becoming Hwy T-33 at some point. Continue on T-33 to Sully, Iowa.

Scenery

Average country scenery for Iowa. This route is suggested more for the curves than the scenery.

Drive Enjoyment

Not a lot of twisties in central Iowa, this little stretch had quite a few and was much more fun than driving Hwy 163 back to DSM. Look at the map and you'll see this route has a fair amount of curves along the way. The road conditions are average to good. I took the route in spring so there were a few small potholes to avoid.

Tourism Opportunities

No towns or stops along the way. Take this for the curves.
