Written Directions

In southwest Richmond, start this route where US 360 meets N. Spring Run Road. Take N. Spring Run Road south to route 655. Take route 655 (Beach Road) west for 5 miles and then take a left on to Winterpock Road for 2.7 miles. Then take a left on to Black Road for 1 mile. Now take a right on to river road for 4.7 miles. This road changes names to Bevils Bridge Road ... continue on this for another 5 miles to the route's end point at VA route 153.

Scenery

This is just your basic back road trip. Nothing really special to see. If you live in Chesterfield, VA there are many back roads like these. A friend of mine took be on this route and it was a blast!!!

Drive Enjoyment

The roads are generally well-kept and free of any pot-holes. You will cross into Amelia county and the roads aren't quite as nice, but still acceptable.

Tourism Opportunities

At the start of the ride there are some places to eat. The ride ends at a little gas station, if it is summer and you are wearing your gear, you are probably ready for a Gatorade.

Great route, I usually go out Genito, to Chula, come back down 360 a short ways and turn right on 153, then hit Bevels Bridge back towards Chesterfield to make a big circle.
