Scenery
The route starts in deep woods for about a mile before dropping into the Femme Osage Creek valley just north of the village of Femme Osage. The route then follows the course of the creek for the remainder of the route, with the tree lined creek on the south side of the road and farm fields on the north side, with views of the bluffs on the north side of the valley.
Drive Enjoyment
The route combines sweeping curves with several tighter, more technical turns, with little elevation change after the first mile. There are a couple of narrow bridges on the route, as well. The road is county-maintained and is older rolled asphalt.
Tourism Opportunities
The route itself doesn't have any amenities, but is near the towns of New Melle and Dutzow, and the Historic Daniel Boone Home is just south of the eastern end of the route.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
The road is very close to the creek in many places, and is prone to light flooding during and immediately after heavy rains, which can often leave mud, dirt, and gravel on the creek side of the road until local traffic and subsequent rains wears/washes it off.
