Quiet Lapeer to Birch Run Drive

Written Directions

From Lapeer Michigan take M24 North to Columbiaville Road. Head East and follow Columbiaville Road till it ends at Washburn Road. Make a right and then the next left on to Wilson Road. Wilson Road will take you into Otisville and at the first stop sign stay slight right on to Center Street. Take Center north and it merges with M-15(state Street). Follow M-15 north to M-57(Vienna) and head West. Stay on M-57 till you hit M-57 (Dixie Highway) and turn right on Dixie straight into Birch Run! It ends in Birch Run where you can take in lunch at Tony's, hit the H-D Dealership, or shop at the outlets. Additionally, you can use this route as a nice quiet connection to take you to Frankenmuth.

Scenery

Several small rural towns and lakes with a LOT of woods. Low Traffic, and very, very limited Trucks.

Drive Enjoyment

Roads are excellent, except for Dixie Highway right at the end of the road. Joints have been patched, so bumps at every Joint for 3ish miles. The rest of the roads are Great!

Tourism Opportunities

You will pass Through Columbiaville and Ottisville and those are the roadside Amenities!
