Written Directions

On the east side, take Hwy #10 (Hurontario) north from Brampton or south from Orangeville to Forks of the Credit Rd. (16901 Hurontario). Turn west onto Forks of the Credit Rd. Ride 7 km to Belfountain. On the west side, from Belfountain head in a NW direction to begin Forks of the Credit Rd.

Scenery

Beautiful scenic road winding along the Credit River. Gorgeous trees (very colourful in the Fall).

Drive Enjoyment

The road is in good condition. Curvy in the middle/western section. Two significant hairpin turns heading uphill 5 km from the east, or heading downhill 2 km from the west. Watch for speed bumps. And watch for radar.

Tourism Opportunities

Several spots available for ice cream and coffee. Belfountain is very popular. Just east of Belfountain are more choices at the Belfountain Inn and Cool Scoops Original Ice Cream Parlour. The Belfountain Inn serves wonderful meals (4.6/5 star rating).

Motorcycle Road Additional info

While at the west end of the road, in Belfountain, be sure to stop for coffee at Higher Ground Coffee Co. Very popular stopping point for motorcyclists, can be quite crowded on a beautiful summer weekend.

The Caledon Hills are very pretty and this is a short and very pleasant ride. Lots of other bikers and where you see them stopped is good coffee and camaraderie.

Short, but very enjoyable ride. Always a pleasure to stop for coffee or ice cream at the west end. On a nice day lots of motorcyclists gather there.

Beautiful ride but too many cyclist on the weekend. "Do not pass cyclist" signs while going through the park.
