Start this ride from Arkansas Hwy 7 at the Pope/Newton County Line (Sand Gap/Pelsor) Travel east on Arkansas 16. There are several options for continuing from there and they're all good.
Scenery
Mountain ridge overlooks with a few mountaintop farms.
Drive Enjoyment
The pavement is fresh and smooth. The crotch rocket guys love this road. It's very twisty. And, the traffic is very light!
Tourism Opportunities
There are no amenities. You're on your own.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
The traffic is light, the scenery is great and the road is twisty. What more could you ask for?!
This is a beautiful route, but right now the road surface is at best a 3 in places. It's not bad enough to keep you from enjoying the ride, but after riding 700 miles in a week, it was on the low side of quality. That being said, I still recommend it for the beauty alone. Road quality the only reason it's not a "5".

Didn't know this road had a name, but Copperhead fits. It's the western end of AR-16 from Clinton to Sand Gap. A very nice road. Just remember you have two options at the eastern end. Continue on AR-16 to Clinton, or turn north on AR-377 to Snowball. AR-16 is curvier, but 377 is a pretty ride.

You may wear out the edges of your tires because you're constantly on them. I swear there isn't a straight patch on that road.
When you're not watching the scenery, keep an eye out for deer crossing the road.
