This stretch is VA 14 between US 360 near Aylett, to Shacklefords (near West Point) where it connects with VA 33. The Mattaponi and Pawmunkey Indian Reservations are nearby.
Scenery
I had heard about this road from a buddy. This is the curviest road in Tidewater, with several blind rises, where the road breaks left or right. Very rural and wooded
Drive Enjoyment
Many sweeping curves and a few twisties. Lightly traveled state primary road
I rode this route last week. Pavement quality is great, it's a nice peaceful road with low traffic, scenery is ok-very rural, not much in the way of roadside amenities so be sure you have enough fuel. There is a gas station in Aylett. The road surface is in great shape, the curves on this road are superb. Best I've found in tidewater, -1 for no amenities and -1 for scenery. It's rural which I like but no breath taking views.

Nice curvy ride. But 12 miles south of 360 there is a lot of loose dirt and gravel on the road. It is a beautiful drive but definitely slowed down for the repaving and loose gravel.
