Written Directions

About 60 miles north east of Knoxville TN, you'll find the starting point in the town of Rogersville, TN. From Rogersville simply take route 70 north all the way through Blackwater Virginia (and on to Jonesville Virginia (or vice versa).

Scenery

Beautiful mountain top scenery with scenic valley views.

Drive Enjoyment

Lots of curves, hairpins, twists. Roads are in decent condition with a little road patching in some spots.

Tourism Opportunities

Little to nothing to do off the bike. There are a few places to stop and rest on the mountain. Better fill up with gas before you get started.

Beautiful scenic ride, not too much traffic and lots of twisties. Plenty of wide spots to pull over and stretch your legs. We went Rogersville into VA, but next time we want to try it in reverse. I think the views may be even better that way :)

awsome ride.. it was a little piece of a ride i took earlier this summer..switchbacks,sweepers, fun for everyone.. in the very bottom of a holler.sweepers for miles .then . to climbing switchback striaght up and down..have plenty of gas
