Written Directions

This route starts at W. Hill Rd and N. Bogus Basin Dr. It heads all the way up to and ends at Bogus Basin Ski Resort. If you have an adventure bike you can continue on Bogus Basin Rd which turns to a dirt rd and can be made into a large loop from what I could see on the map. Saw four guys on adventure bikes come out of that rd.

Scenery

Scenery isn't anything to write home about, there are plenty of places to stop and look down at the valley. There are many other roads that give much greater scenery than this

Drive Enjoyment

This road climbs roughly 4,000 ft in elevation. There are a few good sections but for the most part it's short straights with 20 mph posted corners. Speed limit is posted 35 but there are lots of passing zones. Road surface is in fantastic shape but will be sandy in sections after heavy rains.

Tourism Opportunities

I don't believe there are any tourist attractions, at least I saw none.

Probably best run during the week to avoid traffic, there's lots of trails up there for mountain biking and hiking so you'll want to avoid that. Oddly enough, the only ones that didn't use the plentiful turnouts were the 3 adventure bikes. I was in a car at the time with the wife and puppy.

Motorcycle Type : Adventure Touring
It's a fun little rode, looking forward to getting back out there again and enjoying the off road trails on the adventure bike.
