Written Directions
This route goes between Ottawa ON and Kingston ON. It roughly follows the Rideau River and Canal, and has many historical sites along the way. On the Ottawa side, the route starts/ends at Hwy 416 and Fallowfield. In Kingston it starts/ends at Hwy 401 and Division St
Scenery
It roughly follows the Rideau River and Canal, and has many historical sites along the way.There are many peaks and valleys through what looks like Scottish interior highlands and lochs for much of the route. Westport is mid-way and offers quaint village atmosphere and beautiful views and access to Rideau Lakes.
Drive Enjoyment
The road was resurfaced about 10 years ago and is mostly still in good condition. There are lots of corners and hills

Lots of quaint little villages along the way with gas and shops.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
Especially worth seeing along this route is the town of Westport, and Jones Falls Locks. At Jones Falls, the tallest man-made dam in the world can be seen, and its a gorgeous area to just walk around and take a break.
