Written Directions
Take your best route to the intersection of US 412 and AR-59 in Siloam Springs, AR. Head south on AR-59 for 15 miles. At the intersection with US 62, turn left to stay on AR-59. In 1.6 miles, turn right to remain on AR-59. Continue for 37 miles. Route ends at the intersection of AR-59 and AR-348 in Figure Five.
Scenery
The route travels along the western edge of Arkansas, along a number of river and creek valleys, and along the surrounding ridges. The route is a combination of woods and cleared areas, with several small towns along the route.
Drive Enjoyment
The route is a well maintained state highway, with a combination of surfaces along the route. The route is curvy and hilly without being overly technical, which makes for a nice cruising ride.
Tourism Opportunities
Both Siloam Springs at the north end of the route and Cedarville near the south end of the route have numerous shops and restaurants. There are some rafting, canoeing, and camping opportunities along the route, and the route ends just north of Van Buren and Ft. Smith.
