Written Directions

Start your ride in Star City, AR. Travel down curvy two lane highwatys AR 293, AR 83, and AR 1. These roads travel alongside Bayou Bartholemew, part of the Arkansas Delta, and a large eastern part of the Gulf Coastal Plain. Route contains stops at World War II Japanese American Internment Museum in McGehee, AR (Optional food stops at Hoots BBQ & Steaks, McGehee, AR; Rocky Road Creamery, Star City, AR) Ends at Rohwer Japanese Internment Camp Memorial Site.

Scenery

Wind along the Bayou Bartholemew, through some of the Arkansas Delta and Gulf Coastal Plain. See both the rolling hills, trees, and some of the vast delta farmlands. Lots of winding curves with some of the history of the region on the way.

Drive Enjoyment

Lots of curves and switchbacks in flat or rolling hill country. Great scenery of the southeast part of Arkansas. Good beginner to intermediate challenge, but has something for advanced riders too.
