NOTE! The Map Above is not Entirely Accurate. The Tennessee Legend is a 455 mile long drive and my mapping system couldn't handle all the turns with 100% accuracy so what you see above is a pretty good representation. The Tennessee Legend is a 455 mile driving tour of the region, beginning in Athens Tennessee at the intersection of Interstate 75 and TN highway 30 you will proceed west on highway 30 across the Tennessee valley to Fall Creek falls state park west of Pikeville from Fall Creek Falls go east on highway 30 to Pikeville and turn left on highway 127 north as you head north on 127 you will pass Cumberland mountain state park and into Crossville TN from there you can take TN highway 70 east to Rockwood turn left to TN highway 27 north follow 27 north to Wartburg then turn right to TN highway 62 east to TN highway 116 to TN highway 330 south at Oliver Springs turn left to TN highway 62 east and into Oakridge turn right to TN highway 95 south and continue to highway 70 turn right and follow into Kingston turn left to TN highway 58 south to TN highway 72 east to Vonore turn left TN highway 411/72 north turn right and continue on 72 to US 129 follow 129 to NC highway 143 turn right and continue to TN highway 165 to TN at Tellico Plains turn left to TN highway 68 south to Ducktown turn right to TN highway 64 west to TN highway 30 west follow to Athens, TN

The scenery along this route is world class, mountains valleys, rivers and canyons. The Tennessee Legend is a great way to see this picturesque and history-filled region of East Tennessee. Beautiful waterfalls and breathtaking scenic vistas have blessed this area with a true sense of wonder and appeal. The reason for this route is to connect all the beautiful scenery of the Tennessee valley in a way that the visitor can see the big picture all in one ride!
