Written Directions

Exit 680 at 31st St. and head north to Calhoun Rd. Turn left on Calhoun Rd. and continue in a north western direction for 2 miles. Turn right on Ponca road and continue east for 2 miles. Turn left on River Road and continue north onto RD P51 for 6 miles. Turn left on Rd 34 and continue west into the town of Ft. Calhoun.

Scenery

Route full of tree covered roads with tall steep banks on the northern side that open up into a wide open prairie with small lakes and swamp land. Perfect for slowing down and enjoying the beauty of the land but also straight aways where you can push the speed of your motorcycle.

Drive Enjoyment

The road is well paved and smooth with no shoulder through out with lazy curves and a couple sharp curves. There are also stretches where you can crack your throttle wide open!

Tourism Opportunities

Gas stations as well as food and drink are located in Ft. Calhoun at the northern most part of the route just of US Route 75.

This route does provide some sweeping curves and a few sharper curves (almost to 90 degrees). The views are pretty good and it can be relaxing with a mix of excitement.
