Written Directions
I usually begin this ride on the south side in Grenada by following Hwy. 333 through Grenada. Take 333 south then take a left on to Lakeview Drive (Route 8). Head southeast down to Gore Springs, MS where you want to take a left on toe Graysport Crossing Rd and head north. Now you'll cross the damn and take a left on to Gums Crossing Rd where you will continue north up to Route 330. Take a left on to Route 330 and it will take you into Coffeeville, MS. Now just look for Route 7 and take a left and this will take you all the way back into Grenada, MS and complete your loop.
Scenery
Tons of pine trees and bluffs with a great view of Grenada lake from the dam road. The route travels through or near many wildlife areas (see amenities section for names).
Drive Enjoyment
For the most part the road is in good condition. Just beware of motorists taking curbs too wide and park rangers on patrol. There are plenty of twists and turns and little stops to let the rest of your group catch up. This ride only lasts around 30 minutes or so but is well worth it.
Tourism Opportunities
There are not very many stores to stop at but it is not a long ride so you should be fine. There are a number of public use areas and a state park along the way: Hugh White State Park, Wolf Creek public use, Carver Point State Park, North Greysport public use area, Choctaw public use area, Skuna Turkey Creak public use area.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
Once you get to Hwy. 7 follow it to some other great riding spots.
