Written Directions

Starting east of St. Germain, WI, you'll find Blue Island Road running north of Towline, Road and south of route 70.

Scenery

This route weaves through the northern Wisconsin forest, meandering through towering pines on a twisty well kept road.

Drive Enjoyment

It is an enjoyable twisty route through the trees ideal for cruising and just enjoying a nice warm summer day. May find some gravel on the sides of the road, but my last ride on it was pretty clean and well kept. The pavement is good on this road with minimal bumps. Watch for deer though!

Tourism Opportunities

On the way to American Legion State Forest there are occasional small shops and restaurants in St. German on the way to Lake Tomahawk.
