Written Directions

Form Kettle Falls head South on WA-25 until you reach Gifford-Inchelium Ferry then turn north on WA-3.

Scenery

This route is alongside the river with breathtaking views from bluffs overlooking the river as it winds through the tall pines of Eastern Washington. The ferry is a short break from the ride. There is no preference to the direction you take the loop. All directions offer beautiful stops for photos and snack breaks (if you bring them)

Drive Enjoyment

The road has little to no gravel, no potholes the last time I rode it (which was 4th of July 2013,weekend)and it has very few hard switchbacks. Nice sweeping turns take you through this ride.

Tourism Opportunities

Barney's restaurant and bar at the North end of the loop is closed for certain seasons. There are very few stops along this ride but Kettle Falls is at the North end of the loop and has many amenities.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

You can get to this loop through the south via Wa -25 by way of Two Rivers Casino which is about 28 miles from the beginning of the loop.

I do the Inchelium/Gifford loop at least 2X annually. Hopefully, once in the spring and again in the fall. My starting point is roughly 25 miles SW of Spokane. No matter which I do this loop(clockwise or counter-clockwise) its roughly 235 miles for me. I just completed the spring loop ride about a month ago and the scenery was spectacular and the roads were in great shape.
