Written Directions
The whole ride is in Amelia Co. Va. Start at the intersection of Hull Street Rd (US-360) and Military Rd (VA-153). Follow Military Rd south to Rt 708. Take left onto Rt 708 (Cralles Rd.) Cralles Rd turns into Namozine Rd. after only a few Miles. At the T-intersection with Rt. 612 (Richmond Rd.) take a left then an immediate right to stay on Namozine Rd. Follow Namozine all the way to US-460, where the ride ends at a nice country store (or you can continue on US-460 to find other gas and food)Scenery
Ride takes you through the woods, past country homes, and through wide open fields with long, beautiful views. You also pass a couple small ponds/creeks that are a nice place to explore, but they're easy to miss from the road so maybe look them up via googlemaps before hitting the road. One such pond/lake is right behind a burned down house. But be on the lookout, I was looking for it but by the time I saw it I was passing it.This is a nice short ride that gives a great taste of central VA country living with some beautiful views. There are plenty of side roads that are worth exploring, but be careful of gravel on the road from road work. You may also want to stay on Military road from beginning to end, the road condition stays perfect and the views good, but the ride I have listed gives a better variety of scenery. Sorry I didn't have a camera with me to photograph the ride.
