Written Directions

This route starts near US Route 250 in Dennison, OH. However, I've never done that part, and it looks pretty sleepy until you get to Jewett. Jewett, Ohio is at the crossroads of Route 151 and Route 9 in Ohio. From here you'll head East on Route 151 until you get to the Ohio River, more specifically Ohio Route 7. If going West from Ohio Route 7 is your thing, you'll be looking for Georges Run, OH just South of Mingo Junction, OH. From here you'll go on Ohio Route 151 West until Jewett, Ohio. You may continue on Route 151 until it's terminus into U.S. Route 250 near Dennison, Ohio.

Scenery

Uh, Fernwood State Park and Friendship Park are near here? I'm no Ernest Hemingway, so getting much more than 'trees and hills' out of if me might be a bit of a stretch. I prefer to paint a picture with my videos. I have a video of this route up, click it. If a picture is worth a thousand words, my video makes War & Peace look like a leaflet. Tree, hills, farms, horse crap, light twisties, sweepers and greenery, along with some quite nice (for Ohio) elevation vistas. I'm thinking you'll like it.

Drive Enjoyment

Hilly road with sweepers, twisties and some straights. You're in luck, as of this posting in October 2020 this road was freshly paved for the majority of it.

Tourism Opportunities

None, that I see. Perhaps Friendship Park of Fernwood State park has something? New Alexandria? I don't know, and can't say. Sorry.

Rode it east to west on 11/8/20. Curvy, hilly, not much traffic on fresh pavement (well most of it) does not get much better for Ohio. With the limited daylight this time of year, made no stops along the way. As stated, east end starts at Georges Run off OH-7… west end starts off US-250 between Dennison and the north end of Tappan Lake. It is hillier and more twisty from Jewett east, but the entire 43 miles of 151 is a great ride. Some fun roads around Tappan Lake area.
