Written Directions

Starting in Narrowsburg, NY and going through to the Hawks Nest, Sparrowsbush along the Delaware River, Port Jervis, NJ and Highpoint State Park.

Scenery

This route starts in a small town with cute little restaurants and goes along the Delaware River. The Hawks Nest is a high elevation with pull offs and wonderful views of the valley and river. Port Jervis is a cute little town for gassing up. High Point State Part is a SPECTACULAR view of New Jersey and is the highest point in the state.

Drive Enjoyment

Roads are pretty well maintained and is a mix of 35 miles per hour and sweeping curves. The road inside Highpoint state part is a little rough but still paved and decent. There are a LOT of elevation changes in the Hawks Nest and up to Highpoint.

Tourism Opportunities

Going through several small towns with restaurants, plenty of gas stops. Highpoint state part is a point of interest. There are canoe slips along the Delaware River and plenty of camping.
