Written Directions

Take your best route to Cedar Hill, MO, to the intersection of MO-30 with Hwys NN and B. Take Hwy NN north for approximately 10 miles to the intersection with Hwy O south of Pacific, MO.

Scenery

The route winds through the exurbs of Saint Louis and past some small farms. The road is tree-lined for most of its length, making spring, when the trees are flowering, and autumn, when the fall colors are at their peak, the best times to ride. The trees provide welcome shade during the hot Missouri summers.

Drive Enjoyment

The road is almost continuous curves and hills, with a few straight sections (which are still hilly). The curves typically range from 25-45 MPH, while most of the route has a 55 MPH speed limit (which you'll hit only occasionally). The pavement is well maintained asphalt, with only the occasional patch. You may have to watch for dirt/gravel from roads and driveways intersecting on curves, especially after storms.

Tourism Opportunities

Both Cedar Hill and Pacific have a number of restaurants and shops. The route goes past Don Robinson State Park.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

This is one of the most popular motorcycling roads in Jefferson County, and is a popular way to get from Gravois Road (MO-30) to I-44 (and Route 66) in Pacific.
