Written Directions

County Road Y21 is also know as Horseshoe Road and James Road. Go north from Iowa 3/US52 just west of Rickardsville following it up to County Road 9Y and then head west into Balltown

Scenery

Iowa farmland in the hills near the Mississippi River

Drive Enjoyment

Lots of elevation changes and lots of twists and turns, some pretty sharp

Tourism Opportunities

Not far out of Dubuque, so amenities there. Rickardsville and Balltown are both pretty small farming communities.

Quite a few twists and turns and hilly. Was a lot of fun, but the road wasn't well marked.
