US 250 - By Neil Albaugh

I regularly drove between Green Bank and Charlottesville in the late '60s. Timed myself driving my '65 Pontiac GTO on US250 between Bartow and Staunton and later in my '63 Ferrari 250GTE. Pure fun hearing the sound of a V12 echoing back through the mountains. Route 33 is a nice drive, too.
