Absolutely love this ride. They just finished relaxing the entire way so you’ve got smooth/fresh asphalt the entire way cause every curve to glide like butter. Take some time to stop at the Cascade Springs themselves. It gorgeous! This is actually where I asked my wife to marry me about 3 years back.

Nice short ride. Midway is beautiful, and you have the option after Cascade springs of going left/down passing by the Sundance ski resort to Provo Canyon or going right/up over the Alpine Loop and down the other side onto the Alpine Hwy

I would give this ride a higher rating if the Alpine loop side wasn't so full of speedsters trying to kill you. It's a fun, twisty road, but watch out! Once you turn off from Alpine Loop and head to Cascade Springs and on to Midway, it's a leisurely cruise through some nice aspens and pines. I recommend going up from Midway, so you get the views of the peaks to the west. This is not a fast ride, way too many tight turns and oncoming vehicles for that, so just relax and enjoy. Nice and cool on even the hottest summer days.
