446 to 48 to 135 is an excellent sport touring/sport bike route. The twisties are nice and Lake Monroe is Indiana's largest lake. Make the ride in the fall and you will enjoy some of Indiana's best fall foliage. Don't forget to stop on Kirkwood Ave in Bloomington and enjoy some great college town food and entertainment..

Took this ride in October 08. Great ride, beautiful scenery. Part of 1000 mile road trip. Great ice cream stand in Freetown, met lots of bikers. One of the best rides is north of Freetown on Route 135 up to 46 back over to Bloomington. Stop in Freetown for a break but keep going up 135, you won't be disappointed.

IN 446 east of Bloomington (off 3rd Street/IN46) and IN 58 were recently paved in 2020. Awesome roads and beautiful scenery!
