Traffic is terrible, especially during the summer. Some tourists drive like they want to be the first to the scene of the crash. Fortunately there are of them. The best part of this ride is between Dewey Beach and Fenwick Island.

I ride it regularly... Lewes and Rehoboth Beach ARE crowded and congested on the weekend in the summer months, like most other beach towns, but is a much nicer during the week and off-season. Suggest Sept-Oct for a nice, uncongested weekend ride

Rode it this morning for the first time. Beautiful, crisp October Fall day. Great ride, great scenery! I prefer riding it traveling north to south. I took 113 south from Millsboro to 90 East into northern OCMD and then up Coastal Highway Rte 1, through Fenwick, Bethany, Dewey, into Rehoboth to 24 West back to Millsboro. Really enjoyed it!

Stay away in the summer, too much traffic, highlight is the Indian River Bridge at the south end, can speed thru if you want but you'll miss an extraordinary view of the beach, ocean, inlet and bay if you do.
