First the bad news. There are few viewpoints along the way until you reach Echo Lake. This is true whichever way you travel. Too bad. The views you can see just from the road here and there are super. Some are looking for miles across the mountain tops or down wide intersecting valleys. The good news is the route from Squaw Pass down to Hwy. 74 is way much fun for mid-speed leaning-in curves. It's probably the best curvy road I've ever been on for just playing around with the curves. Most of the curves are consistent in their radii, so there are few reasons not to push the speed and leaning somewhat.

Mt Evans was closed, so I just rode the area and found this nice little route. Great open spaces on a sunny day.

Lots of twisties! Great Scenery up and over Echo Mtn and passing Mt evans (dont forget to make that ride sometime). Found a cool place to camp along the route on Squaw Mtn. Low traffic congestion!
