Marble itself is a small, disorganized string of vacation homes and little business to speak of. The short ride up to the town is typical and beautiful mountain scenery with the vibrant Crystal River flowing past. A fun side run.

A fun side trip, yes, but to fully enjoy would be on a dirt bike and continue up the Crystal River to numerous beautiful high country and over to Crested Butte. That section is pretty rough.
