This is a very enjoyable route while in Auburndale but not so much on a particular road in Polk City. I'm looking for past video footage of the intersection of Fussell rd and Stagecoach rd. I'm trying to prove that the city failed to maintain the shoulders in preventing dirt from accumulating on both side of the road. Anyone with info, pictures, or video that can help me, I'll be sure you'll be compensated ($200) for your assistance once they pay my damage claim. Please reply or contact me at sendit2me000@yahoo.com. See uploaded pictures of the accident. I've been riding for over 10 years.Thank you in advance.

This is an enjoyable ride. It is off the main roads which is busy I4 and Hwy 27. The roadways are in good condition and well cared for. It is about 50 miles and ends near old 17 which you can continue riding south for a continued enjoyable ride south. It takes you through some tight turns as well as some sweeping curves with some straight stretches. I have taken this route several times and look forward to doing it again.

I did the norther portion of this run witch is very good. I especially like the Fussell road part. I kinda like that name. So do my brothers and cousins and aunts and uncles. OK I'm a little biased, but for a bike ride you won't be disappointed. As an added bonus just North of Fussell road is the P.T. Barnum Elephant retirement home. Look for the Palm trees lining the drive way on the western side of Old Grade Rd. The southern part of this run has a little too much traffic for my taste, granted it is small town traffic. Nothing like Tampa or Orlando but everybody has to go to work and go home so timing is a consideration. Thanks for adding this run. Ride safe.

This was a fantastic ride. Did it early in the morning in August 2017 so it wasn't too hot. I really nice bunch of twisties and orange groves, between lakes, and some open roads. Went with a group of 3 bikes and we had a blast.

Great road, some construction going on. Be Careful with sand in some spots. Other than that I like it a lot. I ride with my group and they love it. Good job to the one who suggest this road.

I did this ride today and it was damn good. The stand out sections are below. Everything else is just a connector road. When I go back it will just be a strike mission and not so much following the provide map. I do appreciate whoever uploaded it though. Thank you Sir ... or Ma'am! 1. Cass Rd. = Very nice. 2. Fussell Rd. = Also very nice, but is the number 2 choice. 3. Gapway Rd. = This road has a few good turns but is short. 4. Lake Lowery Rd. This road has lots of great turns but the surface is not so great. It is definitely worth hitting but Cass Rd is much better.

Lots of good riding here. Mostly slower speed limits (35 to 40) but able to ride them faster. Some semi-blind curves that are obstructed by tall weeds. Low traffic, which means open roads. There is one area that is a very thin road, but it's a straight-away, and lack of traffic is a big bonus. Lots of lakes in the area, some sugar sand in a few corners, but road condition is really good. The only exception is the small part if you enter at the Oak Grove cemetery, where the road has about 3/4 mile of rough road. One adjustment I made was going around Lake Ariana, which rides very close to the lake-side. Great job to the creator of this ride!

Dean Stills Rd definitely needs some maintenance as it gave this route a rough start. It was smooth sailing after that, and quite beautiful, as well as being fun to ride. Got lost a couple times as I was driving from a written list, but that's what I wanted! Will be riding this again.
