Great ride. Nice twisties and plenty of elevation changes. Defiantly worth the trip. You can also do the ohio dragons tail since it intersects about half way through.

Not a big fan of the blind hills, but still one of the best rides in Ohio. You just need to be careful and stay alert, you also has some gravel in a few of the turns. Road had a couple of very rough patched up spots just north of OH-78, other than that surface is pretty good. Port 37 Carryout has food and gas and is a must stop for Triple Nickel souvenirs. It sits about halfway between South Zanesville and Chesterhill where Ohio 555 & 37 run together. Hear Triple Nickel Diner in Chesterhill is another place to check out, one these times I'll have to stop and check it out.

Update from Ohio’s Road Ranger (July 30th, 2020): As of June 2020 this portion of 555 is in fair or better condition, with conditions improving the closer you get to OH 7.

The triple nickel did not disappoint. Riding north from US 50 provided a good challenge, and partially in the rain. My biggest concern is a lot of the turns are not marked with which way it will turn or with a speed suggestion. I encountered some slick payment on a hill that turned without notice. Good ride in all, not much to see when you are always on the alert for turns. Also, there is a gas stop with food at US 37 and 555, good place to take a break in the action.

I try to ride this road at least once a year. I ride the whole thing from just out of Zanesville to the Ohio River. It has 751 turns in 63 miles. The Station Lounge & Grill on Joe Skinner Rd. has fresh made burgers and krinkle cut fries.

One of my favorite section of roads in the country. However, turn left on 550 and ride it down to the stop sign / gas station for a break and a cool little.place that sells everything from gas...to bongs to swords to Indian crafts, etc. It's my short ride turn around point and that section of 550 from Cutler to there is better than the going north on 555 if you aren't going for a long ride...all the way up 555. If you have the time, keep going up 555.

Road has been repaved in alot of areas, road signs could stand to be added in certain spots. I must say it was the most fun i've had on my bike ever. Alot of blind hills and curves. Its a adrenaline junkies greatest dream on two wheels. Can't wait to do it again

This ride, and 555 north branch are about as good jack of all trades roads in Ohio that aren't in one of the Wayne's National Forests. I can only imagine this road is run very often by people from central Ohio areas. I can see why, and thoroughly recommend the south and north branch of 555 to anyone passing through the area.

10/10/2020 This road is filled with blind everything, Rocks and sand in the worst spots possible. That being said its a wild ride you will never forget. you will be happy to be alive when you get to the end if you are going at any pace over 30 mph.

Rode 555 from 50 to Zanesville. Southern part tight and twisty and a little more open as go north (not a lot though). Lots of blind hills, keeps you guessing about the road to come. Had to focus on riding , not sight seeing. Was a great ride.
