You left out the best part of Casey Key road. At the north end just as the road turns hard right to leave the island, turn left to stay on Casey Key road. There is about another mile that runs thru some tree tunnels and then it opens up right next to the water. If it's windy the water will spray across the road. Stephen King lives at the end but it turns into a private road before you get to his house.

You left off the best part of Casey Key road. At the north end just as you are making the right turn to leave the island, you can turn left and go another mile. The road follows the beach so close that on windy days the water actually sprays over the road. I have been told that Stephen King lives at the end, but the road is private at that point.
