Took HWY 61 (Airline HWY) to Sorrento. Do NOT recommend this. Take I-10 because Airline has dips in road where culverts were installed. Once on 22, the ride was nice, only marred by trash by road from people still cleaning up after flood last August (this is end of October 2016). Once you get to Springfield it's just road and traffic gets thick.

We road this ride 2 weeks ago, It was great.
We road from Sun LA to Sorrento La. We went to Maurepas by accident kept straight instead of turning on Hwy 22. Lots of turns and great scenery awesome,

This road is under construction right now. Hwy 22 is a lot of fun, though. Take 22 and stay on it, then turn around and retrace your steps.

I love this ride! I ride the Hwy 22 loop often. Road has been repaved in 2019. Great scenery when you have a chance to look die to the many “S” curves.

We live near LaPlace and took a ride on a beautiful day this spring. This was the route we took. It was scenic and curvy.
