OK, if weather isn't too hot. Bring refreshments and add another 40-50 miles to get back home via the I-15 if you don't want to double back.

After you leave Searchlight and turn west towards I-15, past Nipton the road begins a series of roller-coaster drops. It's interesting at 60mph, and... "exciting" at higher speeds.

If you like to shall we say, "open it up", the stretch north of Searchlight is a great place to do so. , Flat, straight and a very high quality stretch of pavement.
