This is just north of my house and I ride this area often. the 53 section is the only really challenging part of the loop shown, but the whole thing is beautiful with good quality roads. The 53 section is curvy with parts of it basically carved into a cliff. Lots of fun and very nice. You can use Jerusalem Church road and/or Henderson mountain rd to avoid the boring Highway 515 section and add a bit more challenge and country scenery to the experience

This is a nice ride. Some of the smaller connecting roads are worth exploring. The written route has you following 575 which one doesn't want to do. However the map is correct in that you jump on 108 thru Waleska. Stay away from GA-20, which has heavy truck traffic.

Great Scenery. Not too curvy & Most roads have passing space or double lanes. Take a left at Jasper & go a couple of miles up to Bigguns BBQ. You won't be disappointed, & you won't be the only biker there.
