This is an awesome ride. West Vancouver to Squamish is stunning scenery along the new Sea-to-Sky Hwy 99 - the reverse direction is great too. The Starbucks referred to is in Squamish. The Duffy Lake stretch especially westbound to Pemberton is absolutely stunning. Eastern half of this route is a little rough though.

This loop is amazing! It has the most incredible scenery you will probably ever see. The road itself is so fun to ride, its constant curve for miles and miles and even on a beautiful weekend I had no problems getting stuck behind slow moving vehicles (at least for long). I talked to a biker who has travel from coast to coast in both the U.S. and Canada and he said the stretch of road between Pemberton and Lillooet is now his #1 road that he has ever riden. I highly recommend that anyone that is traveling near this area take this route!

One of the top rides in Canada. The sea to Sky Highway from Horseshoe Bay to Squamish has fantastic scenery. No gas, very few amenities. Cut into the mountains along the coast. Mountains and cliffs on the east side. Water and islands on the left side. Grab some fish and chips at Troll's in Horseshoe Bay. Whistler is a world-class resort, with world-class skiing at Whistler and Blackcomb. The 99 km. ride from Pemberton the Lillooet, officially the Duffy Lake Road is one of the best. No gas, and no amenities. Just beauty and mountains. The balance of the ride is great, but the Sea to Sky highway and Duffy Lake Road are totally amazing.

This is a great loop. I do it most years. A small addition, which makes it more enjoyable and a bit longer day is to keep east on Hwy 99 from Lillooet, to Hwy 97 and then south to Cache Creek and Spences Bridge eventually joining up with the original route on Hwy 1.

Ride features changes in coastal forests to arid forests. Plan to stop at Fort Berens Winery for lunch. Mix of curvy and straight roads.
