All I can say is "WOW"!! A sign at the bottom reads "No trailers over 24ft." 24ft?? I wouldn't want a pack-it rack on the back of my bike going up there. Some have apparently tried it though, 'cause there are nicks in the pavement on the inside of some of the switchbacks. Not gouged enough to hurt the ride. It's very technical, but keep your head/eyes in it and you'll enjoy it. Road surface "on the mountainside" is less than perfect, but the pace is slow enough that it doesn't matter. Views from top are awesome indeed!

The road is well maintained. Even though it was incredibly foggy on my ascent, I was treated to the sight of a herd of deer at the peak along with the great feeling of flying as I emerged from the top of the fog line. The view from this was absolutely stunning.

I once dated a girl that lived on the top of Mt. Nebo. I asked her what happens when it snows and she said, "We stay home." No kidding, there would be no chance of getting up and down that mountain in the snow.
Before you even start down it, you can hear your brakes begging for mercy.

This is a fun little side jaunt from Scenic Hwy 7. Very technical in the hairpins and watch out for any large vehicles. The views are some of the best in the entire Ozarks.

Fun ride, lots of curves and steep climb. Great scenery at the top.

It's a short group of switchbacks, but WOW, they are tight! Warning: make sure any cages in front of you are far enough ahead of you.... they will stop and crawl right in the middle of the switchback, and it's a heck of a balancing act coming up behind them with nowhere to go.

Sorry, but I can't get on board with this ride. The only reason I take it is to go to Mt. Nebo. It's a few miles of fairly straight road, followed by about nine switchbacks up the mountain. And let's face it, a 10 mph switchback is only interesting because it's different, not because it's fun. You have switchbacks up Mt. Judea, but that's followed by several miles of great curves.

Man, Oh, Man! Absolutely beautiful views from the top! This is a 2 mile route from the bottom to the top and according to the published information there are 11 switchbacks. I forgot to count but it's certainly not for the faint of heart. As mentioned in other reviews, it's an 18% grade. I'm glad we didn't know this going in or we might not have attempted it but I'm glad we did and will go back. It's worth it.

Rode this Summer of 2020 so I no longer remember where I picked up my to-go breakfast, but breakfast sitting on top of a bench on top of Mt Nebo is highly recommended. When you hit the road coming back down there's a sign that reads 18% grade... the pic of that sign with the road dropping out of sight in front of you is worth the ride all by itself.
