As we rode to Sturgis e went from Greybull to Buffalo and it was incredibly gorgeous! nice turns wonderful trees and nice wide paved turn out at the summit.

Would highly recommend this loop and if you can only do a once through then definitely make it U.S.14 between Greybull and Sheridan. Spectacular. If you are riding the area, do not forget to hit Beartooth Scenic Hwy. It will absolutely blow your mind.

Very nice ride. We start in Greybull and have lunch in Sheridan then take state road 16 around the interstate to Buffalo for icecream.then back down the mountain to Tensleep then take a right at Hyattville/Manderson sign just out of Tensleep and back to Greybull.

I rode the stretch from Buffalo to Greybull a part of which is called the Cloud Peak Skyway. Gorgeous stretch through the mountains and a fine road.

I’ve ridden this Big Horn route about 3-4 times and always enjoyed the curves and the scenic vistas. The Big Horn Canyon is impressive as are the roads near the Medicine Wheel.

What a great ride! Cloud Peak Skyway (US-16) is okay, Powder Pass is 9,660 feet. The best part is US-14 & 14A. The ride thru the canyon just east of Shell Falls is awesome! Can be a big temperature change up in the elevations. We came thru on 7/7/21, mountain peaks were snowcapped, you could see them 30-40 miles east of Buffalo on 90. Pavement for the most part is in great shape. The ride from Ten Sleep to Manderson can be hot, kinda like desert, was a 103 the day we rode it. Love this ride, just gorgeous, light traffic! Gas in Buffalo, Greybull, Dayton & Ranchester. Buffalo to Greybull is a 119 miles.
