When I was stationed at Fort Hood, TX, my buddies and I would do this ride every other weekend. We would end up in Fredricksburg, TX to eat at a Bavarian Restaurant, ten riders everytime, real nice ride.

For a longer ride, continue from Burnet to Marble falls. Take the 1431 towards Cedar Park. 1431 is curvy and beautiful. In Cedar Park take the 183 north to the 38 east and back on 195 towards Killeen. AWESOME ride.

A great quick road to scrub tires! No issues with the "Blue" and no cars pulled in front of me. Makes for a good day in Central TX.

I did backwards from Burnet to Killen. The part from Burnet to 183 mostly open straight good quality road, no cops let er breath some air. From 183 to Killeen lots of turns, and twisty road varity. Decent roads, is ok run, not great.

Pretty nice road, but 2670 is a little sketchy in some places. no signage for corners and road gets pretty narrow. Also npted some gravel on the road going through corners occasionally but not terrible.

I have driven this road at least a dozen times in my 2006 MX5. This is a great road. Traffic is very low if at all. Its a great road that you can go out and just cruise through the many curves, or drive it hard for more of a thrill!

Makes a great day ride if you want to just get out of the bikes for a little while. You can get on 281 south in Burnet for about 7 miles and turn right on Park Road 4, awsome ride to Lake Inks, check out the castle on your right.

Tried this a few months ago, the bridge on 963 was out so we had to detour, but other than that it was great. 2670 is an awesome road, just be careful of oncoming traffic.

I’ve rode this route many times. I found this site out of curiosity. I gave it 4 stars because it’s crazy that it was one here. I agree riding it to marble falls is a must.
