I am a local and I have been shouting the praises of the central Tenn. roads for the past several years. I love this route and have run it and several variations of it for the past several years. For an interesting variation just north of Jamestown turn left onto Squrrel Flat Rd then right onto Buck Mtn Rd, this will dead end into Red Hill Rd or Co Rd 325. Follow that back over to rt 111. Great turns, good road surface overall a great ride. Try it, you'll love it!

Have a little patience at the beginning as it seemed a little crowded on a Sunday afternoon. The route improved greatly as it went. Some parts felt like a roller coaster, but with a better view. 325 has the tight corners of more famous runs, but it is mixed in with fun rolling hills and beautiful farm country. For the history buff, it passes the home city of Alvin C. York, who was a war hero from WW1 and the subject of at least one great movie.

Rick B said it well. Janet & I have enjoyed riding these roads for a while now. They make a nice change after rotator cuff injury from riding my 450 KTM on these beloved hills & hollers. Just keep the shiny side UP!
