Great ride. The Pueblo along the route is a nice diversion. There are three slow (30mph) zones that look like prone speed trap areas. The road surface is pretty good, but not new. Once on the route, there is only one stop that has anything resembling a convenience store, and the fuel pumps didn't look promising

Just be careful on this road. Always alot of police on patrol, and not very forgiving of the posted 50mph speed limit along the route

Great road with a variety of twisties that open onto high desert plain. Excellent views of the Monzano Mts and deep canyons on the North end. Don't miss the old Spanish missions, well worth the time to check them out.

Plan accordingly: 91 octane not available in Mountainair. Still, this is an amazing New Mexico ride ya'll >;-)
